"Nothing ever tasted better than a cold beer on a beautiful afternoon with nothing to look forward to but more of the same" - Hugh Hood
FRIDAY 25th & SATURDAY 26th AUGUST 2017
The Somerley Beer and Music Festival is back for its 7th year- bigger than ever before. This is a great family event with something for everyone to enjoy.
*NEW* On Friday evening we will be kicking off the Festival from 6pm to mark the start of this long weekend. A fun, party vibe with a selection of great food vendors, a full bar and live music from Funk Bunnies will have you relaxing into the weekend and dancing before you know it. Numbers will be limited so book early to be part of this fun Friday Night Kick-Off!
Saturday will bring more live bands (from midday until midnight), a great selection of food choices, wine tasting and Pimms, children's entertainments, ferret racing, our famous Yard of Ale competition and not forgetting our fabulous bar offering 150+ real ales and ciders (and soft drinks for the drivers and children)! Bands this year include: Dickie Hart & The Pace Makers, Jolly & the Lightweights, The Orange Circus Band, The Old Country Crows and The Zucchinis
*NEW* After our usual day of fun, music, beer and action on the Saturday we have this year also included Sunday in the ticket price for the Weekend Tickets and campers. The Walled Garden will be open until midday on Sunday to allow you to recover in the sunshine, perhaps grab some brekkie, try to remember which of the 150+ real ales and ciders is your favourite and even take some home with you. Thank goodness it's a bank holiday weekend and you'll have another day to recover...!
We are starting the weekend earlier and finishing later, so come and camp, stay for the weekend and soak up the fun, the atmosphere and a enjoy the wide selection of real ale and ciders.
Camping fields will be set in the beautiful parkland adjacent to the Walled Garden; book early to ensure your space. (Regrettably we are not able to allow doggies into the Festival or onto the Estate).
Here are a few highlights from 2016...
Check out some of the great photography taken from previous years of the festival.
